Hand-harvested at phenolic ripeness in October, the grapes are destemmed and fermented with controlled maceration before ageing for 5–6 months in stainless steel and a brief bottle rest for balance.In the glass it pours ruby red with lively violet highlights. The bouquet opens with ripe red fruit aromas — think amarena sour cherry and juicy small black fruits — followed by hints of spice and gentle earthiness. On the palate it’s harmonious, full-bodied and soft, with smooth tannins and good structure, making it both approachable and food-friendly with traditional Italian fare.
