Description: Arillo Poggio Croce Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2021 is an elegant and structured Tuscan red that captures the classic character of Sangiovese from the Chianti Classico region. The Riserva style offers additional depth and complexity while retaining the vibrant acidity and savoury character for which the region is renowned. The wine displays aromas of ripe cherry, red berries and plum, layered with notes of violet, dried herbs, tobacco and sweet spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with concentrated red fruit, refined tannins and lively acidity creating excellent balance. The finish is long and savoury, with lingering notes of spice and earthy complexity. A refined Chianti Classico Riserva that is enjoyable with food now and has the structure to develop further with cellaring.
