Description: Cambridge Road Syrah 2009 is a mature and expressive New Zealand Syrah from Martinborough, a region known for its cool climate and distinctive, finely structured wines. The wine showcases the more savoury and elegant side of Syrah, with ripe fruit complemented by spice, earth and developed secondary characters. With significant bottle age, the 2009 vintage offers aromas of dark cherry, blackberry and plum alongside black pepper, dried herbs, leather and subtle earthy notes. The palate is refined and savoury, with integrated tannins and balanced acidity supporting the mature fruit character. A long, complex finish brings together dark fruit, spice and subtle savoury nuances. A distinctive aged New Zealand Syrah for those who appreciate mature, cool-climate expressions with depth and complexity.
