Classic & Structured — A richer, more expressive Chardonnay than a lean, unoaked style — combining ripe fruit, some wood-derived complexity, and a natural-wine philosophy (no heavy intervention). Because of its “Unplugged” production, it aims to express terroir (soil, climate) rather than winemaker manipulation. The “Unplugged” line from Hannes Reeh means “no frills” — minimal or no fining, no added (cultured) yeasts, and often bottled without filtration. The aim is to let the vineyard terroir (the “Heideboden” soils near Neusiedlersee) speak in the wine.
